"Flor de Nopal"
A logo/ package design for a conceptual brand of pickled cactus. The prickly pear cactus is a plant that is very commonly eaten in Mexican cuisine. Growing up and even now, nopales (as they are known in Spanish) have always been a staple in my household, so I wanted to design my own version of a conceptual brand for this healthy and delicious veggie.
The name "Flor de Nopal" is inspired by the brightly colored flowers that sometimes grow on this type of cactus. To compliment the pink of the flowers I decided to make the label and lid a bright pink as well, I felt this would help the product stand out on the shelf from most other cactus products that tend to use duller greens and yellows.
