A logo design and motion graphic created for the the Florida Gulf Coast University Library's Media Production Studio, for use on their marketing/promotional materials and educational resources.
The client wanted a design that resembled audio levels, since audio recording is one of the main things done in the studio. I settled on this concept of an audio waveform, to resembles audio levels I gave the bars different heights so they appear like they are bouncing up and down. I also decided to keep the waveform fairly simplistic, so that the design would not be overwhelmingly "screaming" audio recording and could also be used to represent the other resources offered at the studio.
Motion Graphic
The graphic features a simple animation with the audio levels bouncing up and down, this is to give the visual impression that the animation is synced to the song that would accompany the graphic (clients choice). The animations speed however can be easily adjusted to sync to any song.
This motion graphic was created using both Adobe Illustrator and After Effects and eventually exported into Premiere Pro as a motion graphics template, so the client could easily edit elements of the graphic and use it as an intro in their online video content. Ex: Video
