Two39 Life: Brand Image
A collaborative project brief as part of a design course. Our group was tasked with creating a visual identity for a new local clothing brand: Two39 Life. After the first couple rounds of drafts, our group (competing against several other groups) was given the opportunity to pitch our final concept to the CEO of the company. Here I am displaying our final presentation and deliverables.
Two39 Life is a clothing brand based in Southwest Florida, that partners with local artists to help them sell their art on clothing, and other products.

Mood Board, Inspiration and Concept:
We started by conducting research on the brand's target audience, college students. More specifically, college students in creative fields interested in supporting local artists. We surveyed a mix of our peers, most of which were art and design majors. With this data, we were able to create mood boards and a set of adjectives to best describe what the brand should represent and the "vibe" it should give off to attract this type of crowd.
Also taking into account that this was a SWFL based brand, the look we settled on was a "beachy"/skater aesthetic. A mix between casualwear and creative, unique designs that meant more than just a name brand slapped on a shirt.
To convey this we combined hand drawn doodles with photo imagery, to emphasize the artwork part of the brand.

Logo Redesign:
We felt that the original logo did not quite fit with the brand image we were wanting to portray so we decided to change it up a bit to fit the illustrated look we were incorporating into all our materials.

Vibe Video:
This short video incorporates all the elements of the visual identity we wanted to portray. It very closely follows the theme of all our other work, and incorporates the doodles overlaid on imagery concept, that we included in all out other designs.
Posters:

Social Media Concept:
#two39artist is a series of posts to highlight the different artists of Two39 Life. We could feature new artists that just joined Two39, an artist of the week or month, or just feature artists who have new collections coming out. These posts would all use this same template: the polaroid border with the doodles and writing on it that represent the artist’s style/ personality, imitating how you would write on a real polaroid.

#two39fits This next series of posts will be used to showcase different ways the clothes can be styled. So these type of posts would serve as sort of look-book or OOTD (outfit of the day) inspiration to give customers ideas of different outfits they can style with the the Two39 Life clothing.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A similar concept as the above mentioned but targeted at increasing follower engagement. #mytwo39 would be used to encourage customers to send in their own pictures of how they wear their Two39 clothing . And if they tag Two39 Life and use the proper hashtags they could be featured on the Two39 page

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another series of posts would be these location highlights. These posts would feature different locations around Southwest Florida. They would all use this same template of the doodles overlaid on top of a photo, the border, and the coordinates of the location. We thought this would be an interesting way to get people excited about visiting locations around SWFL, while at the same time reinforcing the Two39 Life brand by associating their clothing with these locations/activities.
